Joseph H. Pilates (1880-1968) developed the Pilates method over 90 years ago. It is a unique body conditioning system of stretching and strengthening exercises. Pilates felt his work was probably 50 years ahead of its time. He was right.
Today, people everywhere are discovering and choosing Pilates method as their personal fitness program. The benefits are being experienced by people of all ages. It is adaptable for all levels of fitness. Hospitals and physical therapy centers around the world use pilates for rehabilitation.

Kari Resch PT, CSCS is the Director of the Pilates program. She is a Wisconsin Licensed Physical Therapist and graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Kari is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Extensive post-graduate courses have included the areas of spine care, shoulder rehabilitation, foot biomechanics, and orthotic fabrication. Kari is a current member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Wisconsin Physical Therapy Association. Kari has been using the Pilates techniques for over 10 years as a Physical Therapist treating patients with lower back and neck pain. Kari and all of our instructors are Pilates Certified through the PhysicalMind Institute.

INTRODUCTORY MAT PILATES
Introductory Mat Class is designed for participants new to Pilates. This class is a prerequisite to enrolling in any other class.
YOGA FIT
Yoga Fit is a class designed for all levels of fitness and flexibility. Combining moves such as push-ups, sit-ups, and squats with traditional yoga postures, participants will find this class challenging, relaxing, and user friendly.
PILATES ON THE BALL
This class incorporates the Pilates exercises on top of a large Swiss Ball to create a multidimensional experience.
MAT/EQUIPMENT
This class utilizes a variety of small equipment including fitness circle, bands, foam rollers, sticks, etc. to challenge the traditional mat exercise. Swiss Ball and reformed mat beds may also be used.

Traditional Mat Pilates.
BACK TO BASICS MAT W/EQUIPMENT
This class is taught by physical therapist Kari Resch. It is designed to provide an environment for those who have structural challenges. This is a slower-paced class and is a great stepping stone for those who have just completed Introductory Mat Pilates. It is also appropriate for seasoned veterans to revisit basic principles with new perspective.
CORE COMPLETE
This class is for the individual looking for additional challenge. Greater upper body strengthening is emphasized. Small equipment is utilized. Standing exercises are part of this class. This original class was created by Cassie and taught at local health clubs.
STERY CLASS
This class will be a blend of Yoga Fit and Core Complete.
ALL OF OUR CLASSES ARE TAUGHT BY INSTRUCTORS WHO DO NOT DO THE CLASS AND ARE AVAILABLE TO BE THE THIRD EYE AND MAKE YOUR EXPERIENCE SUCCESSFUL.
